I was honored to receive a commission to design an album cover for a former coworker and friend, who wanted to pay tribute to his lifelong best friend, TJ, who tragically passed away. With over half of the album dedicated to TJ's memory, the cover needed to convey this heartfelt message. Inspired by Kid Cudi's 'Man On The Moon III' album design, I created a vibrant, multi-colored illustration of TJ against a trippy space/heaven background. In complement to the ethereal space-inspired theme, I integrated a heart-shaped balloon into the logo to represent the cherished tradition of sending balloon messages to heaven. Beyond the design, I crafted an animated backdrop and social media graphics to enhance the promotional efforts for this album, ensuring a comprehensive design that resonates with the profound significance of the project.
